South Carolina State opened their 2023 soccer season against Georgia State on Thursday night. The Bulldogs fell 12-0 to the Georgia State Panthers. Georgia State jumped out to a 5-0 lead at halftime and never looked back. GSU added 7 more points in the 2nd half to finish the shut out.

South Carolina State's soccer team is Coached by Liz Amanda Brown. The Billdogs feature a team with 14 freshman & sophomore and compete as an Independent in Division 1. South Carolina State plays again on August 20th at Jacksonville State University.
