SIAC Football: Miles College vs Morehouse

Morehouse dropped their home opener 36-22 to Miles College. Morehouse had 7 straight road games before the weekends home opener. With the loss Morehouse fell to 0-7. Miles improved to 5-2 with a 4-1 in the conference.

Miles jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and never looked back. A 63 yard touchdown pass from Miles QB Edwin Kleinpeter to Jacquel Fells gave Miles 7-0 lead on the games first drive. Less than a minute later a pick six by Melton Brennan gave Miles a 14-0 lead with not even 2 minutes off the clock.

Trailing 21-8 at halftime Morehouse would get some late fireworks after a 89 yard scoop and score by Tyler Davis brought the score to 28-22. A late touchdown by Miles would make the final score 36-22.
