Edward Waters held off a late rally by Miles to get a 22-16 win on Miles senior night. On the season Miles fell to 1-8 while Edward Waters improved to 3-6. Edward Waters scored all of their 22 points in the 1st half. Miles scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to get within a touchdown in the end.

Miles took an early 3-0 lead with 30 yard field goal on their first drive. Edward Waters hit paydirt with a 10 play 97 yard drive ending with a 13 yard touchdown run by QB Jyron Russell. Edward Waters took a 6-3 lead into the 2nd quarter. The second quarter saw Edward Waters score two touchdowns. First a 13 yard run by Tyler King. QB Jyron Russell hit Spencer Carter for a 25 yard touchdown pass to close half and a 22-3 lead into halftime for Edward Waters.

The third quarter went scoreless. The 4th quarter was highlighted by two touchdowns by Miles to get back within a touchdown. First Miles quarterback Jacob Miller had a 1 yard TD run to get Miles back in the game 22-9. Secondly Miller hit tightend Tahj Lee with a 6 yard pass to get Miles within a touchdown at 22-16. Miles would get the ball back, but failed to capitalize and 22-16 in favor Edward Waters would be the final score.

Edward Waters quarterback Jyron Russell had a game high 202 passing yards on 22 out of 27 completions. Miles running back Aaron Frazier lead all rushers with 98 yards on 16 carries. Jaylih Peterson from Miles had a game high 101 receiving yards on 7 receptions. Jeremiah Sumrall from Miles & Chase Powers from Edward Waters both had game highs 9 tackles.
