Norfolk State women's basketball captures MEAC title.

Norfolk State women’s basketball team beat Howard 56-52 to win their first conference title in 21 years. 6th year Coach Larry Vickers led the Spartans to a 26-6 record while going 11-3 in the conference. With the title the Spartans now face top seed and defending champion South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament.
