The 7th annual Black Girls Do Gymnastics Conference (BGDG) was held over the weekend in Atlanta. The event was held at Clark Atlanta University and featured gymnasts of all ages. The first two days featured workshops , clinics and was capped off with an exhibition. The exhibition on Saturday featured gymnasts from Talladega College, Fisk University, along with several other Gymnastics organizations.
Brown Girls Do Gymnastics (BGDG) is an advocacy organization helping to guide Brown Girls through their acrobatic careers. We are striving for more diversity and inclusion in gymnastics and circus arts. Founded by Derrin Moore in 2015, BGDG provides access, coaching, training, and other forms of support to athletes from underrepresented and marginalized groups.
