Savannah State womens basketball team advanced to the semi-final round of the SIAC basketball tournament. The Lady Tigers beat Tuskegee 81-68. Nyia Allen led Savannah State with a game high 21 points. Amari Heard pulled down a game high 14 rebounds and tallied 12 points to notch a double double for Savannah State.

Kentucky State womens basketball team defeated Central State 74-67 in the quarterfinal round of the SIAC basketball tournament. Grace Kerr led KSU with 21 points. Erica Jones tallied 13 points and 7 rebounds. Jones also shot 90% from the field going 5 for 6 on field goals.

Clark Atlanta men’s basketball team advanced to the semi-finals after a highy contested 54-53 win over Savannah State. CAU was led by Chris Martin’s 28 points. Martin was the the only doubledigit scorer for Clark Atlanta. Martin was 10-19 on field goals. Kharye Lane pulled down a game high 13 rebounds for Clark Atlanta.
