Miles College & Edward Waters competed in the Clayton State Classic basketball event held in Clayton County, Georgia. The event featured teams from the SIAC & Peachbelt Conference. Columbus State and Clayton State would face off against each SIAC team.

The first day of the event had Miles & Edward Waters losing games to Peachbelt schools. Columbus St took down Miles 67-53 while host school Clayton State knocked of Miles. 82-79.

The 2nd day of the event had Miles defeating Clayton State 73-63 and Columbus St taking down Edward Waters 74-71.
