Kentucky State beats Morehouse

Kentucky State built an early lead off explosive and a game changing pick-six. Kentucky State controlled the game on way to a 35-17 win over Morehouse on Saturday.

Kentucky State struck first when quarterback Torrence Bardell found Darius Cyprian on 61 yard TD pass for 7-0 lead.

KSU hit paydirt when QB Torrence Bardell hit Jon McCall for a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.

Morehouse added a 28-yard field goal in the beginning of the 2nd quarter to close the gap to 14-3.

On Morehouse ensuing red-zone drive Kentucky State’s Navy Curry picked off a pass and ran 100 yards for a pick six pushing KSU to 21-3 lead.

Morehouse answered with a 69-yard touchdown pass from Scott Miles to Karmin Brunson. Cutting Kentucky State's lead to 21-10.

In the final minute of the first half, Denim Johnson ended a 70-yard drive with a touchdown pass to Carlos Bazert, giving Kentucky State a 28-10 lead the half.

Morehouse QB Scott Miles would link with Karim Brunson for a dazzling 64 yard TD pass to make the final score 35-17.
