Clark Atlanta topped Florida Memorial 17-12 in a tight contest on Saturday. Clark Atlanta took an early 7-0 when Zy McDonald blazed for 50-yard run. Florida Memorial hit pay dirt when running back Nygel Osborne found the end zone for six yards in the second quarter to close the gap.

CAU Freshman kicker Carlos Lopez extended CAU's lead to 10-6 going into the half.

Seconds into the third quarter, CAU's Zy McDonal found Ronnie West for a 37-yard touchdown pass to help CAU mount a 17-6 lead over FMU.

Down 11 in the fourth FMU's Fernando Jeanty rushed for a touchdown to close the gap to 17-12, but with time expiring, FMU could not close the gap.
